I don’t like the cowplant. It makes me nervous.
I let Ede tend it. It needs to be this way. It’s her rocket. To answer for the crime of occupying special space in my head, she must be made to flirt with death.
The interactions are cute though, I suppose. You can pet the cowplant. You can play with the cowplant. It acts like a big puppy, kinda. A big, slobbery, lethal puppy.
Not sure if I have the heart to make Ede become a predatorial Serial Romantic, but, I suppose if I just follow her wants everything will work out. So far she’s not seeming to specifically request new partners & has been content with her current fling. Interestingly enough, her romantic wants have all been general, rather than “i want to kiss this certain person” type stuff. Anyway, luckily her boy had big child-eyeballs – even with the aging bug he’s a cutie!
His name is Landon Purdue, and they’ve gone on a couple dates so far. One was to this experimental community lot I made – it’s a maker space “Library” with skill objects, a community garden, etc.
Someday I’ll take some interior pics, lol.
Another date was to a tiny little indy teahouse I made.
I had planned for it to just have guitar and mic, books, comfy raggedy seating, chess, a mini-kitchen with teapot. But I had to put in a bar because it’s classed as a “lounge” – I think I’ll fiddle with that some more, because the bar really dominates the space. Sims are just drawn to it, lol.
Ede is a natural romantic, of course, so she’s really in her element on dates despite her Loner tendencies. She’s not had any trouble catching strangers’ eyes, and doesn’t seem particularly attached to any one person.
I feel a bit sorry for her lad Landon, because he seems rather hopelessly smitten.
The Purdues are the “neighbors” we made for Easter’s Friend of the World aspiration. I just made a couple in CAS and generated a bunch of kids for them, randomly assigned names and traits and aged a few to teen in-game so they’d be extra-super-random. Landon’s their eldest. Dunno if that counts as marriage-eligible or not, but I have a feeling Ede’s not going to be thinking about marriage for a long while, if ever.
Her sister Easter Lily, on the other hand, maintains a very specific and focused crush on her tiny-eyed townie BF, Jarrett Palacios. He’s not unkind, but he’s a bit hard to read. Maybe the Bro trait makes sims act a bit aloof? Either that or my loathing for bros taints my every encounter with one, lol. Easter adores him, at any rate. She’s got big plans!
For being so different, the girls get along very well. They spend a lot of time chatting about everything under the sun and laughing together.
Sometimes the conversations turn serious, and they confide in one another.
Ede’s got a good head on her shoulders so I imagine she gives decent advice, but her conversations still tend to leave her sister looking aghast much of the time.
Don’t worry, Easter Lily, she’s probably only joking there.
What’s it like for a young boy, coming into this house full of strong personalities? Elder doesn’t seem to mind a bit. In fact, it’s been pretty awesome. His sisters are knowledgeable, they don’t treat him like a baby, and they actually laugh at his jokes!
As fun as it is to watch Dia & Coop’s glorious genes play out, I think three kids is plenty for this generation. Cooper seems fine with that. 🙂 She’s just celebrated her Adult birthday – catching up in age to her hubs once again.
Dia was a wee bit tardy to the celebration, as we’d expect. He’s still got his own internal clock going.
Coop knows right where to find him, though. He’s always been a late bloomer. 😉
Just spent ages catching up on your legacy, I really like it 🙂 This is my favorite generation so far, can’t wait to see how it goes!

I love love love this legacy. I actually really like that its not in their perspective for once with just snippits of conversation.. you have me cracking up all the time! I to suffer with the small eyed large chin population for my legacy… made some strange and evil looking children but they grow up to look better!

You maybe onto something with the Bro trait and aloofness. Ike Jr. hasn’t been quite the same since I gave him that trait.

BTW, I’m tickled at the fact that there’s a man-eater who has a man-eating plant in your game. It’s a bit symbolic in a way. lol
