Generation 1 Score Card

Let’s pause for a quick points tally. And by quick I mean “there isn’t much to count so this’ll go fast.” ;D

Here’s our score breakdown at the time of our founder Anemone’s death:

First Generation Legacy Points

Family : 1/10
(1 point per generation to have an eligible heir reach adulthood; 10th point for having or adopting 10 children in a single generation.)

Creative: -/10
(1 point per generation with all members memorialized in song, paint, writing or comedy; 10th point for a single sim completing 2/3 Creative aspirations.)

Fortune: [tbd]
(Points scale for this is still being determined.)
Lot worth:  $41,658
Cash on hand: $1157

Love: 1/10
(1 point per spouse with 3 unique traits; 10th point for a single sim completing both Love aspirations.)
Finn: Genius, Good, Family-Oriented

Knowledge:  1/10
(1 point for each unique skill maxed by anyone in the family; 10th point when all skills have been maxed.)
Guitar: Anemone

Athletic: -/10
(1 point for each unique completed aspiration; 10th point when all child and adult aspirations have been completed.)

Nature: -/10
(1 point for each Pinstar ‘collection’: All death types on family lot; All career reward objects in family inventory; All 27 aspirations; All consumable aspiration rewards in family inventory;  1 point for each Sims collection completed.)
Deaths on lot: Old Age (3)

Food: -/10
(See Pinstar’s scoring page for deets. It’s complicated. ;D)

Popularity: [tbd]
(3 Gold dates, 1 silver date, 1 silver birthday party. Unsure how many points this will equate to.)

Deviance: [tbd]
(2 stored potions of youth. Unsure how many points this will equate to.)

Penalties: None! Whew. ;D
(-1 point for: power shutoff, plumbing shutoff, child/infant taken away, or extra spouses moved in beyond the 10th*)
*this rule may be changing.

Total:  3 points

Hahaha. Well, it’s not unusual for me to get little to no points in the first generation. Especially in this case, as I’m learning how to play the game as I go, and didn’t expect I’d be doing much point-scoring right out of the gates. But a couple of these I could have gotten with just a little less gawking and a little more effort & planning. I’d better get off my butt. 😉

Onward to Gen 2!

  1. Looks like you had a ton of fun! Can’t wait to read Generation 2. I binge-read your Generation 1 last night and wanted to quickly log in and post comments while it was still fresh in my mind. Lots of laugh-out-loud moments. You are a fun simmer! And your Simmies are so cute – can totally understand your attachment to them, lol.

  2. Oh cool, you’re keeping score! I don’t care about the points. If I make it to the 10th generation, that will be reward enough for me lol. I usually don’t make it far with families, but having folks like you reading and supporting the story help TREMENDOUSLY!! Thank you 🙂
